Permit for victims of trafficking or pimping (traite des êtres humains)
If you are or have been a victim or a witness of human trafficking or pimping, you can get a private and family life residence permit (carte de séjour temporaire vie privée et familiale) under certain conditions. It is issued exceptionally: you must cooperate with the police (or gendarmerie) and with justice. You file your application online on the ANEF online portal, and you immediately receive a dematerialised filing attestation.
Steps
- Before your application to be admitted to stay, the investigating police officers or gendarmes must interview you.
- They offer you a 30-day reflection period to decide whether to cooperate with justice and get a residence permit (titre de séjour). If you ask for this period, you get a 30-day récépissé receipt that allows you to work, and you must provide an identity photo.
- If you do not ask for the reflection period, you can decide to cooperate with justice immediately.
- You file your permit application online on the ANEF online portal.
- At the online filing, you immediately receive a dematerialised filing attestation.
- The préfecture (or sub-préfecture) of your place of residence gives you the card.
